I am a Ph. D. student in the Dept. of Informatics, Systems and Communication of the University of Milan-Bicocca.
I am also working with a research grant at Institute of Molecular Bioimaging and Physiology, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (IBFM-CNR)
After obtaining a master degree in Industrial Biotechnology with a work about computational methods to investigate cancer heterogeneity, I moved to the computer science research field. Currently, I’m working on single-cell data and strategies to gather different information from RNAseq experiments.
The main research areas of my projects are:
- Computational methods for cancer evolution
- Single-cell omics data analysis and integration
- Multiscale modeling and simulation
